रायपुर के डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर स्मृति चिकित्सालय (मेकाहारा) में आज 23 मई 2025 से विशेष कोरोना ओपीडी की शुरुआत होगी।

यह ओपीडी संभावित तीसरी लहर के मद्देनज़र एक सतर्कता भरा कदम है, जो COVID-19 के लक्षण वाले मरीजों की पहचान और शुरुआती इलाज के लिए समर्पित है।

मरीजों की जांच और उपचार के लिए विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों की एक प्रशिक्षित टीम को तैनात किया गया है।

इस ओपीडी को अस्पताल की मुख्य चिकित्सा इकाइयों से अलग रखा गया है, ताकि संक्रमण का जोखिम न बढ़े।

सुविधाओं में सैंपल कलेक्शन, लैब टेक्नीशियन, लेबर वार्ड, ICU और वेंटिलेटर शामिल हैं।

गुरुवार को मेकाहारा में हुई उच्चस्तरीय बैठक में इस निर्णय को अंतिम रूप दिया गया, जिसमें COVID-19 से निपटने की व्यापक रणनीति पर चर्चा हुई।

बैठक में इलाज प्रोटोकॉल, ऑक्सीजन आपूर्ति, PPE किट्स, बेड की उपलब्धता और परीक्षण सुविधाओं को बेहतर करने पर सहमति बनी।

फिलहाल छत्तीसगढ़ में कोई सक्रिय COVID-19 मामला नहीं है, लेकिन राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए यह कदम एहतियाती रूप में लिया गया है।

यह पहल न केवल संक्रमण की रोकथाम में सहायक होगी, बल्कि लोगों के बीच भरोसा भी कायम रखेगी।

राज्य सरकार और अस्पताल प्रशासन दोनों इस कोशिश को भविष्य की संभावित स्वास्थ्य चुनौतियों से निपटने की दिशा में एक अहम कदम मान रहे हैं।

A dedicated COVID-19 Outpatient Department (OPD) has been launched at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital (Mekahara), Raipur, from May 23, 2025.

The initiative is a precautionary step in anticipation of a possible third wave, aimed at identifying and treating symptomatic patients at an early stage.

A trained team of specialist doctors has been deployed to manage patient screening and treatment efficiently.

The OPD is set up as a separate unit from the main hospital to prevent the risk of infection spreading.

It is equipped with sample collection facilities, lab technicians, a labor ward, ICU, and ventilators.

The decision was finalized during a high-level meeting held on Thursday at Mekahara, focusing on comprehensive COVID-19 preparedness.

Key issues discussed included treatment protocols, oxygen supply, availability of PPE kits, hospital beds, and enhanced testing facilities.

While Chhattisgarh currently has no active COVID-19 cases, the rising number of infections across India and globally prompted this proactive measure.

The OPD is expected to help in preventing the spread of infection while instilling public confidence.

Both the state government and hospital administration consider this a crucial step in preparing for potential future health challenges.
